Jagger has no Florida friends, so he goes to the movie theater alone
Live from the Holiday Pools and Spa Studios, presented by Pete Tonight Altoona. And JoJo on the go.
SPEAKER_03Live from studios all over America, from Long Island to the Panhandle to the middle of Pennsylvania and beyond. It's JoJo on the go. Hello, welcome to a brand new episode, everyone. Y'all feeling good out there? Y'all feeling fun? I got so used to having music on the show. I mean, Josh Gallagher performed with us and it's just been so great. Is there some way we could start the show, perhaps, with um a musical intrude?
SPEAKER_02When I grew up in a small town down near Gallagher in Ohio, it's not a big city. It's a small, small town. Living in a small, small town. Everybody knows your name. In a small, small town. You have your farmers markets. In a small, small town. You have your small businesses. Living in a small, small town today. When you're driving down the road, you get behind farm machinery. You don't get bad in a big big city. Small, small town. Living in a small, small town. Living in a small, small town. Everybody knows your name. In a small, small town. You have your farmers markets in a small small town. I love that the bridge is the same.
SPEAKER_03Look at you, Pizza.
SPEAKER_02Small, small town today.
SPEAKER_03Green beans.
SPEAKER_02You have events in the downtown area. And everyone comes out to celebrate. You only get there in a small small, small town. Living in a small, small small town, everybody.
SPEAKER_07Living in a small small town. Everybody knows your name. Living small small town. Farmers markets. Small small markets. Try Luna Cleaning.
SPEAKER_02Living in Small Small Town.
SPEAKER_05Alright, yes. Harrison great.
SPEAKER_01I love when he was like, drive in behind farm machinery.
SPEAKER_03Machinery.
SPEAKER_01Honestly, that's that's the best he's ever done. I get it.
SPEAKER_03He needs to team up with you, I think. You get some traction.
SPEAKER_01I think.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but very nice. So that's our um, what do we call that guy? Our rapping local celebrity.
SPEAKER_01But he is Harrison Gallagher.
SPEAKER_03Harrison Gallagher.
SPEAKER_01Which I didn't even know you could put a U in Gallagher, but apparently you can.
SPEAKER_03Harrison puts the U in Gallagher. He just doesn't know how to spell it.
SPEAKER_01Nope.
SPEAKER_03So speaking of singing, I mean, let's not give all the attention to him. Uh we have a lot of musical talent on this show. As you know, Jana came close to singing the Star Spangled Banner for the opening of a Yankees game once. That's true.
SPEAKER_01It's the Guardians, but whatever.
SPEAKER_03Close enough. And uh Jagger, you have musical experience as well. Uh you've never been in the band or anything like that at all. And uh I think some of you you were in a band.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, in his bedroom. Yeah, once. Garage band.
SPEAKER_05No, I was in a heavy metal band.
unknownWhat?
SPEAKER_05PG23. What was it called? No, no, no. PG23 was the name of it. I didn't name it.
SPEAKER_01He doesn't even know the name.
SPEAKER_05PG23, and it was the heavy metal.
SPEAKER_01Let me guess you were 23 years old.
SPEAKER_05I was not. I didn't name it. And so I was brought in as the singer and we practiced for over a month, and then we did one gig, and I realized I didn't like heavy metal music at all. So I quit. What was the uh band's biggest hit? Um, we did a lot of covers. I think they had a couple of original songs that we did. This was a long time ago.
SPEAKER_03Was one of them living in a small town?
SPEAKER_07Living in a small, small town.
SPEAKER_03Well, you've moved on from the band to Bigger and Better Things, and now you do uh karaoke, right? The two of you? We we have done a karaoke, yes. Yeah? Well, I want proof right now.
SPEAKER_01I love it. I'm glad we're putting this out there because then I want to see if people want more of it. It was a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_03Facebook subscribers, you can actually watch this.
SPEAKER_07Some of it's a good jacket.
SPEAKER_01Summer loving it's really awkward seeing myself twice right now.
SPEAKER_07Crazy for me.
SPEAKER_03Good Jenna.
SPEAKER_07Stop it away. Stop well, well.
SPEAKER_05Alright, you get the idea.
SPEAKER_03I was fun. You you sang heavy metal and you couldn't exert the energy needed to sing that.
SPEAKER_05Hey, I was also producing at the same time. It's not as easy as it looks.
SPEAKER_03Summer lovin' had me a black.
SPEAKER_05Oh, well, hey, Mr. Big Shot, you get on and do some bathrobe karaoke and we'll see how it goes.
SPEAKER_03Only if it's uh broken wings, then I'll blind. Oh, that's your that's your jam, yeah. You know, that's my go-to, right?
SPEAKER_07Take these broken wings.
SPEAKER_03You're welcome. We gotta get it done. Jagger, who clearly has a lot of friends, I think. What did you do? Go to the movies by yourself the other day?
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Remember, we talked about that a while back about what do you do as an adult? You want to go out, but you don't really have any friends.
SPEAKER_06Things we relate to.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Do you fish online and try to get somebody to go with you, or you just suck it up and go alone? So I I went alone. I wanted to see the new Jackass movie. It's the best and last. I didn't even know there was a new jackass movie.
SPEAKER_01I had no clue.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so they're closing out um the series, and it's something that I basically have grown up with. I watched on MTV when I was a teenager. I've seen all the movies, and so I thought, yeah, I want to see, I don't want to wait till it comes out on streaming. I want to go to the theater and get the full experience. So I went alone.
SPEAKER_03Full experience, like it's some masterpiece from James Cameron. It's jackass. What's a Johnny Knoxville?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I think it's about the act of going.
SPEAKER_03I think what happened is the insurance companies don't want to insure 70-year-old men jumping off cliffs anymore. So the budget was probably cost prohibitive. Right.
SPEAKER_01Their life insurance is soon to expire, and they're like, wait a minute.
SPEAKER_03I'm surprised they haven't expired.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So let's uh enjoy. Those of you who subscribe on Facebook are going to see the full uh surround sound visual experience. Everyone else, thanks for listening. But subscribe on Facebook to get what we're about to be treated to. Jagger goes to Jackass.
SPEAKER_05I've been wanting to see the new Jackass movie, but since my girlfriend is not a fan and I have no friends in Florida yet. Yet I'm going to the movies by myself.
SPEAKER_07Sometimes I feel like my own friend.
SPEAKER_01See, he's embracing the loneliness, and I'm like anti-deflecting it.
unknownThank you for choosing Costa Family McDonald's.
SPEAKER_02Will you be using your reward after this?
SPEAKER_05I was hungry. Oh no, thank you. I'm actually on my way to see Jackass Best and Last at the movie theater today. Who's your favorite Jackass character? Mine's Chris Panius. I've never seen that before. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06Yes. I'm a Johnny Knoxville today. Yes, I have.
SPEAKER_05You have who's your favorite character? Mine's Chris Panius.
SPEAKER_07Nerd. Is he British? It's gonna be a pride. Some shiny damn.
SPEAKER_04McGriddle put a whole McConnell's bag in his mouth. Oh my god. Jackass at the movie theater. Let's party like it's 2002.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_04Oh lord.
SPEAKER_03Here we go.
SPEAKER_04Hello. Hey, do you guys have popcorn? Yeah, we got some popcorn. Okay, I'll take a popcorn. Do you have soda? It's a movie theater, you ass.
SPEAKER_01Anything out of that soda.
SPEAKER_04Oh, so soda. Okay, I'll take a soda. Popcorn.
SPEAKER_05I don't want to be a something.
SPEAKER_04Do you guys have popcorn? Mine's Chris Bonnian.
SPEAKER_03Ooh, the Coke Freestyle bitch.
SPEAKER_04Jagger, welcome to Jackass.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, alright. You want to do the Toy Story Theater?
SPEAKER_02Your escape. Oops starts now.
SPEAKER_04Hi, I'm Jagger. Welcome to Jackass. Oh, sorry.
SPEAKER_03Ah. Wow. That was really good. Do you guys have popcorn?
SPEAKER_05Well, I didn't know. I mean, you know.
SPEAKER_07You didn't know it's a movie theater.
SPEAKER_03That's the only thing I think of besides movies when I think of a movie theater.
SPEAKER_05I try not to be assumptive, you know.
SPEAKER_03Makes an ass out of you and me.
SPEAKER_01Oh man.
SPEAKER_03So how did you like the movie? Was it everything you'd hoped for?
SPEAKER_01He didn't see it. He saw minions.
SPEAKER_05No, no, no. No, I finally made it to the right theater. But um, no, it was good. So it it's it was a closeout of a series. It wasn't over the top, like I wasn't laughing hysterically, but there were some good bits in there. There they did a mix of some older stuff too, so you could see some old, like never before seen rare rarely seen. So you could see Bam Marjera on some of his early stuff, um, some of the early Steve-O stuff. So, all in all, it was good. I recommend I especially if you're uh my age, around my age, and you grew up with Jackass, go see it in the theater, it's worth it.
SPEAKER_03The stunts are a little tamer now. Like uh one of the big ones was one of the cast members got out of a chair.
SPEAKER_01So it's uh Yeah, versus like used to get their wee we've bit by a snake or something.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, they've kind of toned it down a little bit, you know.
SPEAKER_01I did used to love that stuff too. You know, I've mentioned how like lately uh trying to find the light in life, I'm really embracing like the SNL clips and stuff. I think maybe I should also go back and start just like watching some old school jackass stuff because I feel like that would hit me in the fields. Or like what was the other show they did? I used to watch that all the time too. Something boys, I feel like.
SPEAKER_03I love Lucy.
SPEAKER_01No, whatever. It you know, they're they're just they were always really good at what they did and no one else would do it, and uh it showed.
SPEAKER_03And it was you you just felt like they were gonna get in trouble and or kill themselves at the same time.
SPEAKER_01Your your stomach is like tight because you're like, oh my god, what's gonna happen?
SPEAKER_03You talk about watching older shows and and reliving the past. My wife started watching a show, she wasn't even alive when it was on in the first place. Oh when I come upstairs now, uh, how old are you? I'm very young. Um she's watching Bewitched.
SPEAKER_01Oh, wow, yeah.
SPEAKER_03From episode one. And like taking it seriously, I walk in and be like, hey, what are you shhh? Stop it. Darren's about to say something. Quiet.
SPEAKER_01Was it on TV land?
SPEAKER_03No, she found it on one of the 85 streaming services we have. And so it's uh Bewitched and commercial free. We're still in the black and white era.
SPEAKER_05They have a quick question which one is her favorite Dick?
SPEAKER_03That's a good question, Dick York or Dick Sgt. And I think you gotta go Dick York on that one. Yeah, yeah. And then I made the mistake of looking up why Dick York wasn't on the show anymore. So before Bewitched, and I'm a nerd, so I had time to look this up, uh, Dick York was in another movie where he hurt his back. Okay. Okay. And he uh obviously sought relief from pain pills and possibly alcohol. And in the first couple of seasons of Bewitched, you don't really notice anything, but then you'll start seeing him he starts walking like this, or during a scene, he'll be leaning up against a wall or sitting in a chair. So they had to accommodate his pain as it got worse and worse to the point where he couldn't be on anymore. And then you went to sleep, woke up, and the next day it was Dick Sergeant. They just had to have Dick to fill that role. It didn't matter who, I guess.
SPEAKER_05And since the first dick went limp, they had to get a second dick. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01People do prefer a correct one.
SPEAKER_03We're still in the Dick York era when I go up there to watch it, and I just keep looking to see him prop himself against like the counter, or because now that I know the backstory, that's all I can focus on. Right. Not like there's any real story to focus on in the stupid show to begin with. I don't think I'm missing anything, but I I don't know if I ever really liked that show, and I I definitely didn't like I dream a genie.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you know what? I was just thinking of I dream a genie because I was about to go like this and and then uh I'm like, oh wait, no, that's not bewitched, is it? I don't think I've ever seen a few.
SPEAKER_03Bewitch is the nose wiggler, isn't it?
SPEAKER_01I thought I dream a genie was.
SPEAKER_03I thought she just went like, yeah, you're getting them like uh combined. Yeah, Bewished is this. I'm wiggling my nose if you can't see.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03And uh Barbara Eden Dream a Genie was.
SPEAKER_01Regardless, I am pretty young for both of them.
SPEAKER_03I don't think there was a need for both of those shows. I think one would have been enough. See, I just witch, one's a genie, but it's kind of like the same thing, isn't it?
SPEAKER_05Well, when you were watching them when you were young, um, didn't you just watch them because the women were hot, or no?
SPEAKER_03No, I watched them because all the cartoons ended, and that's what they rewarded you with when the Flintstones and Looney Tunes and all the stuff you enjoyed went away. Then they threw on like they eased it, it was Munsters, Gilligan's Island, and then once you got to Bewitched, you know it was gonna be some adult show after that you hated.
SPEAKER_05I just know that Jeannie in that outfit helped turn me into a man. That's all I know. Oh dear God.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Can't dress nowhere to go from that. And just no recovery. I actually want to hear about Jenna a lot now.
SPEAKER_01Um What do you I got a lot to talk about?
SPEAKER_03Plans for traveling.
SPEAKER_01Um, I mean, in a few weeks I am going to like just visit a friend for a night.
SPEAKER_03Um, I am going to Is this where you sneak into my town again and leave without me knowing?
SPEAKER_01No, that's in three weeks. Oh, okay, good.
SPEAKER_03Jenna, that's called a booty call. What you're describing. It's a friend for a night.
SPEAKER_01It's a girlfriend. But what does that matter nowadays? Um no, and then in August, first week of August, I'm going down to Virginia again for a night to go to my niece's birthday party and then I'll respond a few days. I'm not getting into it. A night? It's a whole thing. It's a whole thing, but then I'm flying out of Virginia to go to Aruba with my parents for a few days. Alright, that makes up for Virginia for the night. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So uh I thought you're just gonna drive back on 95 after one night from Virginia.
SPEAKER_01No, no, I'm flying down. Uh that's a costly one, that's for sure.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah, it's Aruba.
SPEAKER_01It's just crazy.
SPEAKER_03It's not Pittsburgh.
SPEAKER_01No, even flying to Virginia was like pretty penny.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's a friend.
SPEAKER_01It's my sister. That's a real good one.
SPEAKER_03What other new developments do you have to get to get the audience caught up on? Do we have any new things?
SPEAKER_01Did I tell you guys that I've gotten scammed by Facebook Marketplace?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Okay, so I sold two things. They were like an old pair of like really nice designer sunglasses that I once was able to afford, and I'm like, I don't wear them because I need prescription in my sunglasses, and uh, you know, there's just no need to have like the labels anymore. I don't care about any of that stuff, you know? And uh so I I sold two pairs and because mama needs some money, and so I was waiting for $400, and I've never had an issue on Facebook Marketplace. It showed delivered on my birthday, which was May 22nd. And uh so then your payout should be within a few days, nothing. So I contacted Facebook Marketplace then and they said we'll get back to you within 48 hours. Nothing. So then I just keep waiting and waiting and waiting. I have not received a payout. I finally reported them to the Better Business Bureau, still haven't heard anything.
SPEAKER_03I don't understand this payout. When I sell things on marketplace, I meet people at Sheets gas stations.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's but that's not if you if you're shipping something, it's different. So you shipped it without payment? I sh that's they paid it. It's literally in Facebook limbo. Oh and and my my payment information is all accurate. I had sold something a month prior, had no issue, and now I have four hundred dollars that I are just unaccounted for and two pairs of sunglasses lost.
SPEAKER_03Gone.
SPEAKER_01Gone.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Facebook, that 48-hour response thing. I've been waiting to hear back from them now for four years about a certain issue.
SPEAKER_01And I've looked into it, and apparently on Reddit, there's tons of people who just like all of a sudden months and months later they get paid if they get paid, and I'm like, okay, I'm all about paying it forward, doing a good deed, donations. I'm always giving, giving, giving. But like this is a little ridiculous.
SPEAKER_03I'm sorry that happened to you.
SPEAKER_01So a little pissed.
SPEAKER_03He uh has been selling a lot of stuff that he's you know hoarded into the house. He's now trying to get it out there on Facebook Marketplace. And um I think there was an entertainment center that wasn't even his. He just listed on Facebook Marketplace. And I saw that there was a comment. It was like, hey, I'm interested. Is this still available? It had a phone number, and I'm like, son, you already got a bite. He's like, What? I just posted it. And then he looks at it, he goes, Oh, that's a scam, Papa. I was like, What do you mean? It's got their phone number there, and it's that's a bot. I'm like, oh man, I'm in trouble. I can't even spot scams now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, they do. Well, you know what they do is they'll say, like, oh, I'll send you the payment right now, like before they see the item and stuff, and then you just gotta block them immediately. You gotta be smart about it for sure. I only meet them in public places if I'm going, you know, to give something out. But like this one, everything was legit, and I have no idea why my money is just missing.
SPEAKER_03Just floating out there somewhere in meta.
SPEAKER_01So now um now I hate Facebook.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Mark Zuckerberg's using it to buy bullets to kill wild boar to eat in his backyard.
SPEAKER_01But it'll mean a lot to me. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05They're just hanging on to your money until your content gets better.
SPEAKER_01Maybe. Maybe they're deducting. Well, good luck to me.
SPEAKER_03Did you say you're in the process of writing a book, right? And you're looking for a publisher?
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah.
SPEAKER_03And the book will be about me?
SPEAKER_01Yes, of course.
SPEAKER_03She's being secretive. She doesn't want us to know.
SPEAKER_01It's a true novel about your life.
SPEAKER_03Is this going to be like Fifty Shades of Gray or Superfudge or somewhere in the middle?
SPEAKER_01Probably an in-between, yeah. There'll be some down and dirty, I'm sure.
SPEAKER_03You are an excellent writer. I have to give you credit for the show. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01So I I my vision here is to have 22 chapters. I have 13 of them. I've taken a bit of a hiatus because now I'm like, okay, I want to try and pitch it, but also like it is, it's a lot to go through all this and to write.
SPEAKER_03Oh no, no. So well, you know what?
SPEAKER_01It just kind of like I was looking it up and as I was doing research and saying, like, on average, how how long should some of these books be? And they said anywhere between like 20 and 26 chapters usually. And 22 stood out to me, and I was like, okay, I'm bored on the 22nd. You know, that kind of made sense. And then I forget what it was. Oh, I was doing some sort of like study group thing at work, and we had pulled up a book that we were working out of, and then it said that the book we were working was twenty-two chapters, and I was like, I feel like that was meant to be. So I'm like, I I stick with that. I go with the signs that the universe gives me because for so long I ignored all the signs the universe gave me.
SPEAKER_05And are the universe me? Yourself or is chat GPT writing it for you? There's some assessment, yeah.
SPEAKER_01There's some assessment. I mean, how can you not? I mean, it turns what you want to say into legible, and sometimes it just adds a little bit more flair. But here's the thing, it also can add very vanilla. So I have to then go back in. It's like it is a lot of work because I kind of spit ideas and like put big paragraphs as to what I want, and they can condense it for me, but they can also lengthen it. But I really need it to sound like what I want it to sound like as well. So it's really just using it. I think it the important thing with AI is remembering that we have to use it as a tool, not lean on it.
SPEAKER_03And not have it do everything for us.
SPEAKER_01Exactly, which I'm sure everybody does. I get messages all the time, like from people, and they'll forget to delete, like, here is your uh detailed message. And I'm like, obviously you AI'd that, you know, just gonna be released under your real name or an alias.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Judy Bloom.
SPEAKER_01You're right.
SPEAKER_03I have a suggestion. I would call the book 22 chapters. Oh my gosh. Because I'd be like, what the hell is this about? My mind is blown. That's a deep but then make the 23 chapters. Oh there's a twist at the end.
SPEAKER_01That's like what I used to do in my workout classes, is I would tell them just eight more, and then all of a sudden I'm like 27 more.
SPEAKER_03Oh, you were one of those physical trainers. You can do anything for a minute. But then you're going like 25 minutes later. Yeah, oh man, you know Jenna beat the crap out of you if she was your physical trainer.
SPEAKER_01I used to say to them, I'm gonna kill you, but with a smile on my face. You know, salty but sweet. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03On that uplifting note, I've worked up an appetite for pizza.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, Azure gagging.
SPEAKER_03You didn't hear that. Thanks for pointing it out.
SPEAKER_01Most definitely did.
SPEAKER_03They just cut the lawn and all the palms like coming in my why?
SPEAKER_01Okay, no, this is what we need to stop and say. Why is pollen from the outside getting into infiltrating your home right now into your basement?
SPEAKER_03It's probably just mold.
SPEAKER_01Regardless, I think you need to check now.
SPEAKER_03Oh no. I just got some bad news. Oh no.
SPEAKER_01Corey Felman died?
SPEAKER_03Uh Cory Felman. Oh god. No, it's from my landscaper. I don't know if you guys heard the I was just saying how they were mowing. Yeah. My guy accidentally weed whacked that plant you had in the corner. Oopsie. Don't forget your invoices due. Or who's gonna be able to do that?
SPEAKER_01Honestly, how do people maintain businesses nowadays? I don't understand it. What the fuck?
SPEAKER_05You're gonna get whacked and you don't pay the bill.
SPEAKER_03You know how many corners there are in this property? Now I'm like, what plant? Which plant? Your whole garden.
SPEAKER_01Well, I I understand that because I was weed whacking the other day because I am my own landscaper, and I also whacked something I probably shouldn't have. What the hell did they whack?
SPEAKER_05It's Romain everywhere.
SPEAKER_01Oh god.
SPEAKER_05Speaking of whacking, Janna, tell them about pizza night.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Speaking of whacking.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, don't know, don't know the reference there. But okay, you know what's one thing that really like gets me hot and bothered in a good way? Wow. Is different kinds of like garlicky, bready, like balls. And they've got these garlic parm pepperoni balls. Right? So I've had like regular garlic knots, of course. I've had buffalo garlic knots before, but this is like blending meat, cheese, garlic. Oh my god. They're like, I'm actually drooling thinking about it. And if you haven't had them, like you are missing out. Little bites of heaven. You can get them by the dozen.
SPEAKER_03The dozen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So if you're getting one of their $6.99 mix and match deals, you gotta make sure you do that. They also have like different kinds of subs. They have the steak and cheese and all those different ones. So you gotta check them out. Support local legends. Head over to Pizza Night 3329 Beale Avenue. You can order online through Toast. Pizza Night is the taste that conquers hunger. Check them out.
SPEAKER_03Look at you. What an endorsement. Look at that, Jana. There's the phone.

So I went to my family, like, we're going out tonight, we're going to Applebee's, we're gonna have a good time. Well, what about the money, old papa? And I said, Don't worry, we're getting a cut of the merch. So we go, we eat a full meal, and I go to check my Venmo, and it's three dollars and eighteen cents. Yeah, absolutely. And I'm pointing that out because for some reason it's now why am I not on the radio anymore? Is going around with five different weird rumors about what happened, and none of them are correct. So hear in my own voice why I'm not on the radio anymore. That's the very first episode we did, right, Jagger?
