After the recording platform had an automatic update, Jagger found the new sound effect buttons.
Live from the holiday pools in Spar Studios.
SPEAKER_06Presented by Pete Tonight Altoona.
SPEAKER_02Jojo on the go.
SPEAKER_07Hi, you're having way too much fun.
SPEAKER_02Joining us here, Jagger discovered sound effects buttons on his computer and we're all forced to suffer through it. Welcome to the show.
SPEAKER_07At least you've popped on. I've been listening to this for 10 minutes. I'm gonna take this little pick thing and stick it in my eye.
SPEAKER_02Oh, that's all right. Make sure it's during the show. Right.
SPEAKER_04Right, of course.
SPEAKER_02Yes.
SPEAKER_07So uh honestly, my eyes don't even look any smaller when I go like this. It's kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_02I thought you were looking wide open right there.
SPEAKER_07I know, it's terrifying.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so it did an upgrade to our studio software that we didn't ask for. I saw it and immediately got mad. And then I joined this group that we're in, and Jagger's like, look at all this new great stuff we have. And he plays the sounds of like a cricket.
SPEAKER_01Look at this advanced technology. Watch.
SPEAKER_07In in 24 hours, we'll hear it from him that oh my god, we're being charged double for this. Blah, blah, blah.
SPEAKER_03Who allowed sound effects in this? Quick question though. Why do I sound like Jonathan now? Yeah. Where's your bass? No, I meant you, your uh impression of me. You went straight to the Jonathan impression. Papa. I went like this. Yeah, almost. Just about. Why so many? Why so many effects, Papa?
SPEAKER_02So disoriented by this new technology. Oh, good, a studio audience. Oh gosh. We're off the rails. Welcome. It's been one and a half minutes. What's going on? We're off the rails. Yeah, one and a half minutes of the show.
SPEAKER_07Sounds about it.
SPEAKER_02Well, enjoy the rest of your Wednesday. So we didn't get a chance to cover anything that happened over the weekend because of our special guest on Monday. I didn't know that was over here about it.
SPEAKER_07That was a great conversation we had with Josh Gallagher.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, Josh. Um but we forgot to get to Father's Day and and how amazing or disappointing it was. Um I don't know. We can go around the room to Father Jagger. I like that Father Jagger. I should join a lot of people.
SPEAKER_07I should definitely not be in any sort of affiliated church or anything.
SPEAKER_03No. I couldn't be ordained and marry people. That'd be fun.
SPEAKER_02So what did you do for Father's Day? Clean your house?
SPEAKER_03Um, so really kind of just took the day off and didn't do anything. Watched a lot of movies, had some food. But no, so um like n none of my kids are local. And again. Um and so, and then my girlfriend and I, she has decided that we don't really celebrate each other for Mother's Day or Father's Day. Is that weird? Because we don't have kids together.
SPEAKER_07No, I kind of understand it because while I was going to pick out a card at the store, it for yourself? No. Um but Father's Day cards. I saw like obviously a lot of them just said, Dad, from your sons, from your daughter. And then the ones that were clearly like from your spouse, it was like, you are the greatest father, husband. That's too much. And I'm like, no, like for a single parent or parents that are in like chapter two, it just like doesn't really make sense to do the whole thing.
SPEAKER_02Those Hallmark cards are way over the top. You go in, and and even if you like the person you're getting the card for, it's just so over the top, level 10. It's not how people talk to each other. Like maybe in your first six months of your relationship, that card's appropriate. Right. It's too much. That's not you. You're sitting on the couch telling your wife to get out of the way so you can see the murder documentary on Netflix. They don't have that card.
SPEAKER_07Did I ever tell you guys I tried starting my own like uh Hallmark card company? Uh like it was called Hallmark My Words because I wanted it to be real real life. Um, it didn't go very well, but uh I thought they were great in theory.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Did you save them?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I actually have them on um it's on a website. So uh if I find it, I will let you know. It's on an Etsy shop, I think.
SPEAKER_02Put it behind a paywall, make some money on those.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, you know what? Honestly, and they're they're virtual. So I thought that that'd be cool, convenient, eco-friendly.
SPEAKER_02So is it the alternative to Hallmark? In other words, are they not over the top mushy?
SPEAKER_07No, not at all. In fact, they're like quite the opposite. Uh, let me see if I could find it.
SPEAKER_02All right, we'll wait.
SPEAKER_07But go, no, no, no, no. Continue. Oh, but it was funny because you said, oh, we just watched movies, we ate food. Sounds like you just did what you needed to survive.
SPEAKER_02Just enjoyed a one day off. Yeah, man. I had a six-hour wedding the day before Father's Day, which was a lot of fun. I mean, another event where I felt like I should have paid them to be there, but they're always so gracious. So far, I'm sure I'll roll up on one gig where I instantly know I'm gonna have a problem, but so far it's been a lot of fun. So uh happy 10th anniversary to the Briggs family. Thanks for having us at your event.
SPEAKER_04Oh funny.
SPEAKER_02I was I'm gonna get real sick of that in about five minutes. I already am. I'm now pre-recording that I didn't show up for, so I didn't have to hear it. I have to do that. This is why I I show up 30 seconds before recording, just so I it's all new and fresh to me. Oh god. So Saturday, I'm I'm waiting for this gig. I sit in the chair of anticipation, as I call it, my living room chair, where I just sit until I have to do something else. And next thing I know, the dog's barking. My youngest son had just left the house. I thought, I guess he's back. So I didn't even look out the window or turn around. I was like, Wrinkles, stop. Not Wrinkles the Clown. My dog is named Mr. Wrinkles.
SPEAKER_07Wait, it is funny that we like just mentioned this, by the way.
SPEAKER_02Like we we knew this, but we've never actually talked about it, which is now I have to clarify my dog's name because of the whole Wrinkles the Clown that Jagger won't stop calling during the show. Right. Um, and he's interacted with us. We'll get to that. But so I didn't turn around, and my wife kind of looks back because she's got like the queen of Sheba couch that she sprawled out on, like an Egyptian queen, and she's like, Oh my god! I was like, is it finally time for me to get murdered? What's happening? Yay! And I turned around and there's my son, my oldest son drove uh like three, four hours for Father's Day. Um, was his high school five-year reunion scheduled for the same exact day? Maybe.
SPEAKER_07Convenient.
SPEAKER_02But was it canceled so he came to see me? Yep.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_02So I turn around, I I hug him and I start crying, and that was embarrassing. And then my wife sees me crying and she can't resist pointing out. See, that was the wrong sound effect. That doesn't work. I don't have crying yet. So I was so grateful that he came and I was like, Oh, and guess what? We're going to a six-hour anniversary party tonight. He's like, What? I was like, Yeah, the company. Now the whole family can run the business.
unknownThat's right.
SPEAKER_02He goes immediately to the fridge. This kid doesn't even drink, right? Goes right to the fridge, takes the last corona, pops it open, and starts chugging it. He's like, he's like, Well, can't go now, too drunk. That's funny. So he stayed home and the rest of us went. And it was fun. And then yesterday, it was the Father's Day gift exchange. It felt like Christmas. I got like all these presents were lined up, and they actually used some of them were Christmas wraps because there's not really a lot of Father's Day gift wrap. Um one of the gifts is because I like random things from my memory of what my grandparents had when I was growing up. And so I finally got a lazy Susan. You guys know what that is? Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Yes, my brother's.
SPEAKER_03That's her maid's name.
SPEAKER_02Lazy Susan.
SPEAKER_07Hey, oh, Sue. I need a refill.
SPEAKER_02LS. So basically, if you don't know, it's instead of asking one of your family members or friends to pass the salt, you just it's on a carousel that spins around on the table.
SPEAKER_07It reminds me of an old school Chinese restaurant, you know, where they would put everything in the middle and uh, you know, you would just kind of uh family style it. I love that.
SPEAKER_02This thing is huge. You can fit every condiment known to man on the lazy susan. And then I ran out of, I've had the same bottle of cologne that Janice probably had to suffer through one or two days.
SPEAKER_07It's a lot.
SPEAKER_02Um, don't worry. The last squirt happened like two weeks ago. Gross. So my wife said, Well, what do you what do you want? I was like, Well, I guess you could get the same thing. She's like, What do you want? I was like, I really want dracar. I was getting ready to say Dracard Noir. Yeah, but now they've got, yeah, I know it's from the 90s and ha ha ha ha on me, but I don't know. It's just the first name. I don't know many men's names of colognes, and I know that acts shouldn't be allowed in the house.
SPEAKER_04For sure. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Uh, but it's not just Dracard, it's like Dracar Extreme or something like that. And the first, so I I give it a squirt. I don't realize where the nozzle's going.
SPEAKER_07So why does he keep saying squirt? I'm sorry. Now we're eight minutes in, and it's like I he's saying squirt twice.
SPEAKER_02It's not my fault. Your brain lives in the trash can all the time, and I can't use a word like squirt. That's on you.
SPEAKER_07My daughter, she's constantly saying, look, squirting pee, and I'm like, stop.
SPEAKER_02Like it's next thing I can't say, I'm doing a load of laundry because it's gonna set Janna off.
SPEAKER_07He said load. Okay, this is overwhelming respects. These effects are like, I'm so overstimulated right now, I don't even know where I am. Am I high right now?
SPEAKER_02I don't even know if I got out of bed to do the podcast. If I'm actually here or dream, don't you hate it? Do you ever dream like you did a full work shift? Yep. And then you wake up and you're like, oh no.
SPEAKER_07Well, I guarantee whether you're in your bed or not, you definitely don't have pants on.
SPEAKER_02Well, she knows me so well. Jagger, we're just not gonna ask for the best. So, oh, also another gift I got from uh one of my thoughtful children. I opened it up and I think they've given me Sunny D.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_02Like a four-pack of Sunny D. Like, what the hell is this? Is it the alcohol? And then I look and it says Sunny D with vodka.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's honestly I prefer the one without the alcohol. Um, but I haven't tried it.
SPEAKER_02It's uh waiting for me in the fridge.
SPEAKER_07It's a gimmick. You gotta try it. You gotta try it.
SPEAKER_02Uh couldn't even get me the grape one. Got the orange. Well, Sunny D comes in grape. I didn't know that. Yeah, you know what? I didn't know that either. But I saw it at the liquor store like a week earlier and I was like, ew, but now I have it. It's mine. So those are great for breakfast.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm hearing.
SPEAKER_02So a very thoughtful, over-the-top card as well, like we were talking about for my wife. Words that I don't deserve. So and then the debate was what's for dinner? And my son said, We're having Jersey mics because I have a gift card. Oh, okay. So he went out, he gets the Jersey mics. I decide to get something different because I always get the turkey, whatever. Yeah. So I get the Philly cheesesteak with the peppers and the onions. Oh, it's very good. Treat yourself, King. Delicious. And the second my kid's done eating, he's like, Well, gotta go. Oh, here's the old man sitting there. As he you can hear him like putting the suitcase by the door and getting the laundry he just used our machine for. It's all going by the door. You know what's coming next. He's like, Okay, bye.
SPEAKER_03Cats in the cradle starts playing in your head.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And then I get flashbacks as we stand outside, like waving at the car leaving, like my grandparents used to do when I left their house. And I was like, oh my God, this is us now. Yeah. Yeah. I um but we get to see him in two weeks, but that'll go by for five seconds as well. Nothing's ever good enough for me. But I'm very thankful that he came and that was nice of him. And uh thank you to my whole family when they see that.
SPEAKER_03Did I mention that I sat on the couch and watched movies?
SPEAKER_07That's good.
SPEAKER_02No, that's we watched Deadliest Catch. I mean, you know, we had to fill the time between the sandwich and the Dakar. Yes. Yeah. I I didn't know Deadliest Catch was still getting cranked out. I go through, it's like season 87, you in? You win. They got cameras on cameras for that show now. You actually feel like you're on the boat. Damn. And it's always bad when the season starts with a guy like, Wow, everything looks so big here. And then his face goes in an oval and it says in memory of no and then the episode starts. So you know something's about to go down.
SPEAKER_04Yep.
SPEAKER_02I think I'm gonna call out of work today and just watch the whole season. That's a valid excuse.
SPEAKER_04Totally.
SPEAKER_02I think so. Yes.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. Tell me you push it.
SPEAKER_02Hannah, you were obviously you play the role of father many times, and the father's not just uh a man who's a father, it can be a woman or or anyone who plays that role. No, it cannot. Or it can only be a man that's a father. That's right.
SPEAKER_07I mean it is no, it is what it is. Uh yes, uh, I mean, uh, whatchamacallit. This year was obviously different. It was hard. Um, I tried to keep busy. I actually painted my daughter's entire room this weekend. I also decided to fix my ceiling fan, which since the day we moved in, the former owner said, Oh, by the way, your master bedroom fan doesn't work. And of course, in typical fashion, like a million other things in my house, some of which have fallen apart over the past year, my ex would be like, Oh, this is no big deal, or oh, we don't use this, it's fine. And I was like, No, like I'm gonna take initiative and get things done. And so I fixed my ceiling fan and it runs, and that was amazing.
SPEAKER_01And so I'm gonna put a power off first.
SPEAKER_07So I ironically enough, that's gotta go. Uh never going.
SPEAKER_02He's just gonna add to them. Was it a TMU fan for the ceiling?
SPEAKER_07It was crazy. I had no idea. I contacted customer service, and that's what they're like, before you do anything else, let's just try it. The battery was literally dead. No, I couldn't even believe it. And I'm like, I just I don't understand how it's like see something, say something. But like in our house, it was always see something, let's ignore it because I've got other things that I care about more. So I did that. I felt very productive. Also, my daughter was home um until Friday, and she was like, Mom, where'd the TV go in your room? And I'm like, Well, it broke, and she goes, So I threw it out and she goes, So who helped you? And I said, No, babe, no one because we're strong, independent women in this house. Um, so this was a weekend for me to just try and thank you, thank you. Uh just try and like focus on the things that I could do around here. Um, was emotional at times. I did spend a little bit of time with my own dad because he's like the only person that I have around here, him and my mom. And uh I handed him a gift and he goes, Not for me. I'm gonna re-gift this.
SPEAKER_02I was like, this is just honesty runs in this family, doesn't it?
SPEAKER_07Wow, it was so and this is after decades of being told that I'm the most thoughtful gift giver. And I'm like, well, really? Clearly, I lost it. Clearly.
SPEAKER_02Is he is his attitude changing a little bit as he uh gets more matured?
SPEAKER_07Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure that is that what it is. Yeah, he also had no problem saying to me the other day that someone was smarter than me, and I was like, gonna keep my mouth shut on that one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, bringing it time to introduce dad to an assisted living tour if he keeps going. What was the gift?
SPEAKER_07Uh it wasn't anything crazy. I I I had gotten him a mug that said the world's best farter, I mean father, like one of those like cheesy ones. I thought it was I thought it was funny. And also like my brother, my brother always like jokes about that kind of stuff. And so I like gave it to my dad. And then meanwhile, we went out to dinner, and then we're coming home, and all of a sudden I'm like, it stinks in here, and I'm like, who farted? And he goes, I did. I'm like, you gotta keep the fit.
SPEAKER_02Oh god. Now, at the beginning of this, I said that fathers come in many uh shapes and sizes, and anyone can be a father if a father's lacking, and Jagger, you seem to have taken objection to that. You don't like that.
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02But what are you objecting to?
SPEAKER_03Every year we get these. We have Mother's Day in May, and everybody, the whole world makes a giant deal about Mother's Day. There's brunches and there's pageants and there's all these sorts of things that are happening for Mother's Day. And then we get to one month later, and it's Father's Day. You get a pair of socks and some Dracard Noir, and then uh all the single mothers. Dracard revenge, and then all the single mothers want to be like, Well, I'm technically his father too.
SPEAKER_07No, I definitely don't claim to be uh a father. I am technically the father of my house.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, there you go.
SPEAKER_07But uh the man of the house.
SPEAKER_03No, you're not. No, you're not. Absence of a man doesn't make you a father.
SPEAKER_07I am absolutely a man.
SPEAKER_02I said the same thing. There's single fathers out there who play the part of both parents. I've said the same thing about Mother's Day.
SPEAKER_03Nobody says that about Mother's Day. I said it. You said you deserve credit for being a mother too.
SPEAKER_02If you're in a house and you're a single father, happy Mother's Day to you. There definitively are people who like who play the role of both.
SPEAKER_07Yes. It doesn't matter. So do not have any other support.
SPEAKER_03We don't all live in a perfect family jagger. Oh, mine is far from perfect. I have no mother, no father. I sat on a couch for Father's Day with no kids stopping by. But leave the day as they are. Father's Day is for fathers, Mother's Day for mothers. You don't get to claim one or the other because you feel like maybe I did a little extra. Your job is comments below for Jack's.
SPEAKER_07Oh, damn.
SPEAKER_02A little extra. Listen, your job is to do extra. Oh. I went out of my way to not ruin everyone's Father's Day yesterday by making a post that says, Happy Father's Day, must be nice. Mine's dead. Like, I'm very proud of myself for that. I I looked the other way and I didn't do that. No. People can't get on, can't wait to get on social media and be like, must be nice. And I listen, I was that was me for like the first year or so. Um, and I just thought my dad probably wouldn't even like that in the first place. And why do it? Why remind people that my father's dead when I have the urn five inches away from me at all times?
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02No need.
SPEAKER_07Right. You've moved on, so everyone else should too. Totally.
SPEAKER_02I haven't moved on. I have a huge void in my soul, but other than that, I didn't want to bring anyone else down. Well, we hope you had a good Father's Day. I will point out that Jagger, I don't know if this will make you feel better or worse, but Father's Day is ranked as the 20th most popular holiday, and Arbor Day made number eight.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Don't uh so it's already low on the token. Don't try to steal it as well. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Don't steal the 20th most most popular. Columbus Day is like 11. That's like going into somebody's living room and finding a 50 and being like, hey, look what I discovered. Right. Exactly. Well, it is what it is. Hopefully you had a good one. I hope you either had a good one or you just didn't have one like Jagger.
SPEAKER_03Well, I spent mine on the couch. I did watch the movies. I also was on Instagram and TikTok. And um, have you seen this guy that does the raps on TikTok? Yeah, I introduced you to him.
SPEAKER_07Wait, what?
SPEAKER_03I'm asking Jana. Oh, sorry.
SPEAKER_07No, I first of all, I I don't have TikTok. So Oh, right.
SPEAKER_02The maid producties does in the maid, what's going on in the TikTok?
SPEAKER_03That wasn't rage debate at all, Janna. Go ahead. Uh why do you hate TikTok?
SPEAKER_02It's for what it's worth. It's a constant sales, TikTok, it's a constant sales pitch on TikTok.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, it's just, you know, again, I've I've said it before. Like the TikTok shop, you know, it's just it's another social media platform. I just don't don't need a need for it anymore. And besides this podcast, like I wouldn't have really like gone back on social media. So I mean, why have more?
SPEAKER_02Well, luckily I discovered you from social media when you said, hey, I'm back on social media. That's when I said, Hey, maybe you want to be on the podcast. So that's true, too. You did. You did make your announcement on social media, and then I was like, I gotta snatch that talent back up immediately.
SPEAKER_07Hey, do you guys mind if I take a video call from my daughter real quick?
SPEAKER_02Well, sure. What kind of monster is gonna say no to that? We're not busy. Go ahead, father. Oh, okay. Call's being recorded. What the hell's going on in there? Is she in jail? Is that a collect call? What in the family mediation is happening there? I don't know. Let's listen. Is that like some court-ordered thing? If you're just joining us, that would be weird because you could start the podcast at the beginning. But if you're just joining us, Janna's left the room to take a recorded phone call from her four-year-old daughter. She can't have it on the show. We weren't expecting it, and I guess neither was she.
SPEAKER_03When she right.
SPEAKER_02When she answered the call, it was like, this is a collect call from I just don't, I'm a little disconcerted about the recorded part. Like is that called Monet Monitored Visits? If it's on a cell phone.
SPEAKER_03She's been lying to us this whole time.
SPEAKER_02We're just about to get to the Johnstown rapper. And I don't even think we should call him that because this guy's got a series where he raps about any town you throw his way. I thought he just did a Johnstown rap. Right. Those of you listening in Guam right now, Johnstown is in Pennsylvania. It might be in other places, but Pennsylvania has its own very special Johnstown, which is a town with a lot of character. It's been through a lot of struggle. It's got a mall that's hanging on. They're trying to reinvent it, fill up a food court again, and put unique stores in there. So I give Johnstown credit. I've got family that lives in Johnstown. I never expected to hear, and I don't even want to call it a rap song about Johnstown, but it's it's more like poetry ode to Johnstown, if you will. Um, and as soon as Janet gets done with her. Court ordered phone call. We're gonna enjoy listening to that. But now would be a good time to say hello to our uh valuable sponsors quick before she talks, Jagger. Go ahead and see what you're doing. You know what?
SPEAKER_07Even though I might not be the I need I might not be the father, but a kid always needs their mother. But why why I would get a call while they're in the parking garage and there's obviously no service is beyond me. And yes.
SPEAKER_02Well, I just want to know why it was recorded. Is this some court-ordered phone call?
SPEAKER_07It's not court ordered, but he paid for the premium package so that he could record every call with me. We don't need to talk about that.
SPEAKER_02He can't fix a fan with a dead battery, but he finds a premium package on FaceTime.
SPEAKER_07Oh, money is not the problem with him at all. Money is not an issue.
SPEAKER_03Getting off the chair is the problem. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02So that being said, I told you not to get married. But anyway, Jagger, before Janet Rudley joined the podcast.
SPEAKER_03Pizza Night. I'm so excited. Pizza Night is on the verge. It's going to happen. There's going to be a bully shipped from Blair County, Pennsylvania to Navarre, Florida. And it's it's happening. And if you're local though, you don't have to wait. You can go there today and get your bully. Yeah, David ships ship it in your mouth with your hand. Right.
SPEAKER_07Okay, so here's my question. What did you like threaten them with? What did you bully them with?
SPEAKER_02Did you want me to come by and visit them? And Jagger jumps in the email thread and he's like, Where are you going to send me my bolus?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I made it like a condition as producer of the show.
SPEAKER_07You really need it that badly. Like you can afford not to have it.
SPEAKER_02He wants to ship a bully down to the equator just so he can enjoy it. This is only. So they write back to help. The logistics of this are very difficult. We're trying to figure out the logistics on this. Dry ice is now getting involved in the situation.
SPEAKER_07I mean, it's really not that difficult though. So I do side with Jagger on that.
SPEAKER_02Like it's well you're coming here soon, Janet.
SPEAKER_07You're right. Yeah, you're right. Yeah, you know what? I am gonna make a snap down to pizza night. Sherry's berries.
SPEAKER_02I got them sherry's berries ice packs right in the freezer right now.
SPEAKER_03I can let them borrow 'em. I know. Let's go. And and Jana, what do you get when you go to Pizza Night?
SPEAKER_07Um Pizza. Yeah, that would that would be a good one. But no, buffalo chicken, anything. That's my go-to. Like honestly, did I ever tell you guys that I was uh I pro Jojo probably knows, but I was a vegan and a vegetarian for a long time. Do I ever tell you, Jagger?
SPEAKER_03No, I was too though.
SPEAKER_07So the thing that yeah, so the thing that um broke my streak was um The Whopper. Well, a couple things. Actually, ironically enough, um, my ex-husband, we were just dating at the time, and he is a big meat person. So he kind of like bullied me into not being a vegetarian anymore, would like kind of make fun of me every time I ordered like eggplant or whatever. Um, but no, I got into a car accident. I flipped my mom's car, and the whole reason behind it was because at the time I was a vegan and I was uneducated, and I thought, oh, I have to eat organic blueberries or like something so stupid. So I bought them. I was at my friend's house, I was going to the gym at 6 a.m. before school started. It was like the week before my senior year of high school, and I forgot to wash the blueberries. So I'm like, oh crap. So I go and spill, uh, like pour water on it, spills all over my mom's brand new car. I go to wipe it, I crash into three park cars, flip it over. So then that night we went out and I was like, I can't do vegan anymore.
SPEAKER_02You like how she says I crash into three cars, flip it over like it's just a connector on a sentence? Yeah.
SPEAKER_07So so that broke my vegan streak. Then a week later, I go out sake bombing with my friends, because you know, senior year of high school, I got really drunk, and buffalo chicken had my heart, and there was no more vegetarian. I've never looked back after that.
SPEAKER_02Uh no disrespect to vegetarians, vegans, if that's how you choose to ingest.
SPEAKER_07Oh no, I totally respect it. In fact, I like I was thinking like, I want to bring back meatless Mondays and only do like a vegetarian meal once a week. Uh sometimes I order vegetarian off the menu just because I enjoy it. As long as it has protein fiber, like nutrients, like I really I don't mind not having meat. Um, but I just buffalo chicken is buffalo chicken.
SPEAKER_03The great news for the folks in Blair County is that you too, you can get vegetarian, you can get meat, whatever, whatever you want. You can get it there at Pizza Night. Go by and see them, give them a call today. 814-943-7000. That's 814-943-7000 Pizza Night.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02Also, shout out to Tri Luna Royal Cleaning. They are just getting busier by the day. They've got so many happy clients. They actually now have a fleet of vehicles. When they started partnering with the show, the owner showed up in a Dodge Neon from 1998. Wow. And now they have a beautiful fleet of brand new vehicles that are professionally detailed. Uh they've even got yard signs, and he's like, I'm putting one of these in your yard. And I said, No, you're not. And so shout out to them. If you've got a you know, one bedroom, if you've got a rental you need cleaned out, if you've got a business that you're tired of the squirrely maid who never shows up when they're supposed to, call Triluna. They do it all. They even power washed my balcony last week. 814-895-3038. They actually said, Can we come and do your windows? We'd like to make some footage of how good we clean windows. I said, No, can you power wash my balcony instead, though?
SPEAKER_04Oh, a balcony.
SPEAKER_02I want to make sure you know about the only one nice part of this house, Jenna. You're gonna see it. Love a balcony. We're spending all of our time out there when you get here. Sweet. You better get here. When are you coming to Pennsylvania? Oh, yeah. The weekend I'm losing for Erie.
SPEAKER_07Friday. Friday, the 24th.
SPEAKER_02Get her at the roundhouse rally if we're lucky. Great. July 24th, mark it down. The day Jana blows me off and visits my own town. She's not coming here for me, just so you guys know. I'm not, but I will see him. Uh she did forge a great friendship while working with me on the air here. Of course, not with me, but with someone in the audience.
SPEAKER_07And she uh No, she wasn't even a listener.
SPEAKER_02Go let's rub it in a little more, and why don't we, Jana? Let's give me no credit whatsoever. No, she actually hated you, and I still met her.
SPEAKER_07So I loved that though, because okay, again, being over there, it was very small town, and you know, not for nothing. Like people would call you out everywhere you go, and people would take pictures everywhere I went. And you know, there was once or twice people saying you're the Taylor Swift of Pennsylvania. I'm like, that's dramatic. However, this girl, she didn't know who I was, she didn't listen to me, and I loved that, and so that was great.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I remember you got your name Trailer Swift.
SPEAKER_07Yep, that's it. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02We went to shoot a video at a local golf course, very prestigious place. But that morning during the show, Jana had proclaimed that she likes to sleep naked. And that was good for 6 05 a.m. I thought. I thought that was good conversation. I didn't have a problem with it. It's morning. So we get there, the guy that runs the place is like, oh, Jojo, cool. And uh you must be the one that sleeps naked. Looks at Jana, and I'm like, Well, we're off to the races. That's right. That's our Jana.
SPEAKER_07It was a great old time. And honestly, I went out to dinner there another time, and he was still friendly to me. So I go there all the time. Yeah, it's great.
SPEAKER_02The general manager there is real cool. Doesn't give me a discount, but he's really cool, and he remembers who I am, probably because of you and that statement. But they've actually done a lot of upgrades if you haven't been there lately.
SPEAKER_07I actually was there last summer. Uh I went to go to the house.
SPEAKER_02I think it's changed since then, even.
SPEAKER_07Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. She was there when she didn't visit you last time.
SPEAKER_07Exactly. Yeah, last time I didn't. Keep up, keep up.
SPEAKER_02It's literally across the street from my house.
SPEAKER_07Uh no, I didn't because I didn't know where you now lived until you took it.
SPEAKER_02I live in the tobacco shop, the vape store. Yeah, right. Right there above it. That's my balcony.
SPEAKER_07Wait, really?
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_07No. I'm like, you told me that you lived in a nice neighborhood now.
SPEAKER_02No, that store at the neon side just is vapes, random colors. That's I live above that.
SPEAKER_07I uh whatever.
SPEAKER_02You can't sleep tonight. They don't shut it off.
SPEAKER_07Triluna will clean anywhere, so I don't know. Right.
SPEAKER_02You got a vape store that's filthy. You're gonna have to remove your skills machine soon, according to the state, I guess. So you might need to clean underneath where the skills machines used to be. They judged them the I don't know if you know this, Jagger. You can gamble at any gas station in Pennsylvania. They're called skills machines. Yeah, sweepstakes, right? There's supposed to be skills involved, but they're they deem that they're basically slot machines. And I mean, there's more of these places than there are vape shops. And I don't wish bad business on anyone. I j I don't know what the future's gonna hold though, because you can't walk into a Sinoco or or anywhere without at least three or four of these machines. And there's people that argue they raise money for veterans, they help the elderly, they're great.
SPEAKER_04Really?
SPEAKER_02And then there's people that like there are a hangout for meth heads, they're causing gambling. So there's like a whole debate. But I think that debate's over because they ruled them slot machines. So now I think there's a hundred and twenty-day you better get here, Janet. So you can't.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I'm intrigued.
SPEAKER_03Well, maybe that now that there's slot machines, like the convenience stores can dress up their establishments more like casinos, like they can ha offer more amenities. Pennsylvegas. Right. Perfect.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, well, so so basically you're now you're now becoming the entire United States of America. Pennsyltucky, Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_02I mean there's already casinos in Philly and Pittsburgh and Greensburg. There's casinos all over the state. That's why Atlantic City is crumbling into the ocean because there's not really any need to go there anymore between your phone and every other state almost letting you gamble now. But now you can just go to the sheets and gamble. No, they don't have them. They wouldn't.
SPEAKER_07They're above that. Come on now.
SPEAKER_02You can get vodka-infused iced tea at Sheets now. Oh, yeah, that's here too.
SPEAKER_03You can get the uh that and THC drinks here at the convenience.
SPEAKER_02Well, absolutely. I don't believe those are real, but could just be my liver not processing them. Not that I ever had one, of course. That is, yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_07That's consumptive of you.
SPEAKER_02No, the here's something to know and uh pay attention, folks. Edibles don't work for everyone. Some people have livers that don't process the enzyme in edibles. So you could literally, and don't get all crazy, eat five just to test it. Um you just won't feel anything because your liver doesn't change it into what would make you feel elevated, so to speak. So I didn't know that.
SPEAKER_07I did not know that as well.
SPEAKER_02Well, we'll test it on Jana when she gets here. Yeah, it's called Indica versus Sativa. That's that's what it is.
SPEAKER_07This guy knows a lot here. This guy knows a lot here.
SPEAKER_02You get an education here. I went to weed college.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, really.
SPEAKER_02So I'm getting an education today. That's exactly how he said it. Good job, Janna. Working on her impressions. Nice. Jagger. Before Janna rudely left us to talk to her precious gift from heaven, her daughter.
SPEAKER_07I miss her.
SPEAKER_02You were going to play um and I think those of our premium subscribers will get to see this as well. Am I right? That's right. The this gentleman who picks random towns to rap in.
SPEAKER_07Oh, yeah, you were talking about rap. Right.
SPEAKER_02That's before you flew out of your chair and left the room.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, because the TikTok thing, it just lost me.
SPEAKER_02Right. And honestly, I'm surprised that you're not doing TikTok shop. You seem like you'd be a spokesperson for TikTok shop. Yeah, you could put it.
SPEAKER_07I'm doing a lot of things that are making me no money. So maybe you're dumb grading cards on there. Maybe I should. I went on Etsy to go look at mine, and apparently because they didn't sell at all, they deleted them all. So now I can't even show you my ideas.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_07They're gone.
SPEAKER_03Gone. So they do have they have quality control on there, is what happened.
SPEAKER_02And that's sucked. They're backed up on grandmas that want to sell shrunken apple head people, so they had to get Janna out of there to open up a spot. Yeah, apparently. All right, so let's hear this guy. Do we know his name?
SPEAKER_03It's Harrison Gallagher Gallagher. Speaking of Gallagher, we just had a Gallagher on the show.
SPEAKER_02Now it's Yeah, we only have Gallagher's as guest from now on. This is no relation, I assume.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02Liam Gallagher from Oasis is next, but here is we'll call him the Johnstown rapper for now until we hear the next town in a future episode. Go ahead, Jagger.
SPEAKER_00Enjoy everyone. It's our gift to you. Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Johnstown, Pennsylvania's in Canada. You can't hear it. They have about 17,000 residents, and I can't believe they have zigzag zip codes. Let me repeat that. Zick zip codes. They have the 1889 Johnstown Blood, and they also have the Johnstown Blood Museum. The Harry Discovery. And Con Maw River is there too. They have a really nice mall called the Johnstown Galleria. The Laurel and Grouse Restaurant and Roots Kitchen and Juicery. The Moon and Mog Coffee 2 and M subs is also there. George George's song shopping classic elementary blame barring chocolates. Flowers and gifts is also there. Celestial Brides and Promise. And don't forget about United George. The school district is greater Johnstown School District. This is a rap about Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Johnstown, Pennsylvania. All right.
SPEAKER_07Okay, I got two points here. Number one, I have never seen anyone in my life that looks more like the place they're from than that guy right there. Like he just screams Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
SPEAKER_03Janna.
SPEAKER_07Screams it.
SPEAKER_03That's Jana. Johnstown Banana. Janna, banana, B-A-N-A-N-A-S. No, like I mean She does not speak for anyone else on the show or JoJo Worldwide O.
SPEAKER_07But seriously, like he just looks like he's from Johnstown, Pennsylvania. And he is.
SPEAKER_02That's why Janna was such a hit on the radio here.
SPEAKER_07Here's my second point. In the beginning, I did not get the rap thing happening. What? That's not it's not a compliment or an insult.
SPEAKER_02It just I think it was kind of an insult. If I walk into a-tude looks like Johnstown.
SPEAKER_07If I walk into a place and I start speaking, people are like, You are from Long Island, New York. How is that a bad thing? What?
SPEAKER_02You got your hair done and you have a manicure?
SPEAKER_07I don't, and I don't.
SPEAKER_02And you're annoying as hell.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, that's it. Jeez.
SPEAKER_02My harshest criticism was that he said coma instead of Conema, but Genesis. We apologize. He looks like Johnstown. Oh my god. Come on now. Don't act like you love Johnstown. Now you're gone too far.
SPEAKER_07Our our assistant P Our assistant P D was from Johnstown.
SPEAKER_03Did he also look like look like a Johnstown?
SPEAKER_02I don't even remember who she's talking about. I think the therapy's working. I don't even remember we had a radio job anymore.
SPEAKER_07Wait, so does he rap about multiple places?
SPEAKER_02Or yeah, I thought he just did that one. And then I was back on TikTok and he popped up, I think he did one about Stupidville, Ohio or something.
SPEAKER_07That's a real place. Stupid.
SPEAKER_02Stupinville. Stubenville.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. But does does he do one about Long Island or Navarre, Florida or Altoona or anything like that? And are you trying to book this guy?
SPEAKER_03So I am trying to book him. And if he doesn't have one about Long Island or Navarre, Florida, we're going to see if we can make that happen. But um there's yeah, check him out on TikTok, Harrison Gallagher. Harrison, what's his Harrison song? Harrison Gallagher. That's it. You can just look that up. That's it on TikTok.
SPEAKER_07That's so interesting. Also, um, in regards to Navarre again, this is the same.
SPEAKER_03You want to insult Navarre too?
SPEAKER_07No, this is the same.
SPEAKER_03You look like Navarre Jagger.
SPEAKER_07You should go to Destin. And I'm like Navarre. It's all it's all in the same vicinity.
SPEAKER_02Close enough. Yeah, we're two different places, trust me. We're close enough. When you go down and don't visit Jagger, you'll see Jenna. Right. We're Destin adjacent. All right.
